Originally from Boston, trombonist and composer Ben Finberg now lives in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico. Trained formally in jazz and classical idioms, he has played in groups with styles including salsa, dixieland, indie rock, funk, soul, and free jazz. He has written and performed pieces with groups ranging in size from duos to twenty-piece big bands.
